I love birds, but in the wild. I am still amazed when I see/hear a flock of parrots. Birds in Australia are so noisy. Where I come from they tend to be quiet. The noisiest ones I remember were the grey louries, a.k.a "Go-away" birds. Prettier birds were the glossy starling and masked weaver.
Wow. I have never seen one of them. What a long tail! The body looks about the same size as the grey one, but they have a more extensive vocabulary than the lowly grey one. They also say haa-haa-haa!
