I do agree with the infamous critics that it can be a little slow in places, especially if you do the Side Quests ASAP, but upon finishing it and reflecting on the long journey, it's my favorite entry. All that time getting to know minor characters just reinforces the message more and more.
I love the implication of Luigi Logic in that it amplifies Luigi’s own intelligence which was already pre-existing before he was brought to Concordia. Adaphne is the only character who recognizes his genius without him applying Luigi Logic in front of her. Everyone else had to see it to believe it.
Also love how it takes a generally negative trait and puts a positive spin on it. Luigi being one to look before he leaps unlike Mario who charges in may not be always conducive when courage is required, but it lets him see the bigger picture and plan.
Fortune favors the bold, but prudence favors the wise. Mario is the former. Luigi, the latter. It’s so fitting that he’s the Sniper too in the Mario + Rabbids games since having the high ground and staying far from the action gives him a better read on the state of things.

But yeah, it’s a good game. Especially love the story and a certain surprise character invite endgame for sure.
