What a surprise! After Mayor Adams kisses Trump’s ring(or most likely something else), the DOJ wants all corruption charges against him dropped. We have no rule of law in the U.S. so why should any of us be law abiding citizens at this point?

That is what it seems will be necessary. The rule of tyrants becomes complete when the governed can no longer resist. It took Hitler a bit over 50 days to reach this point. The U.S. is well on its way.
I'm hopeful that there is something we're not privy to in the works that will remove these thugs from the people's house.
Maybe a coup of our own will be necessary, but we're not a country that rolls over so we better not start now.
Sorry your family has to endure this. Sending love your way.
The more corrupt you are the better you will get on with this new President and his Government. Law and law abiding citizens will be fair game for him and his cronies.
Adams is a disgrace and certainly should not be allowed to serve another term but, Americans are generally stupid and have short memories so I have little doubt he will be re-elected, especially since he now has orange stains around his lips.
It will backfire on Adams
narcissists take what they want and discard; the DOJ asked charges dismissed without prejudice and watch how he does with allowing ICE into NYC. They’ll make him perform and charge him afterwards
You have that wrong. There is very much a rule of law for normal folks... my friend just spent three days in jail for not mowing his lawn. The rule of law persists for those below a certain threshold.
