The truly bizarre thing is that in her leadership campaign she seemed to genuinely strike a tone that made both 60-year-old blokes in Mansfield who miss John Reid and zoomer soft-left trans women feel respected, and at some point in the last parliament she apparently decided to just stop doing that
Right, once I get over the essential 'why are you having a sulk at having what is now a proper economic department' problem, what I don't understand is why she is having a sulk in such a bad and tactically inept way.
I mean, if she wants to win the next leadership election then no, it doesn't really make sense to switch from playing someone who can unify all wings of her party's coalition to a frankly crap advocate for only one wing
