Of course some people (indeed I knew several in the civil service) would look at those photos and say it shows that we need to invest more in roads. See also “unused cycle lanes”

Indeed, the original post was a subtweet in response to all those posts claiming cycle tracks were empty.

They're empty because the people using them already got where they're going!
