(this might be a shit post, but assuming it isn’t: ) the noise cancellation makes your brain think the air pressure in the surrounding area has decreased (even though it hasn’t) (but if it had you would experience a similar effect because there wouldn’t be much air for the sound to travel through)
Because it is. Especially if you voted for Agent Orange 🍊 Don't panic
If you voted for him then you didn't have many brain cells to lose. You'll be fine. Just stick your head back in that hole.
there’s a bit of that already with any headphones too but it’s exacerbated with the noise cancelling, and it makes it sound worse imo just inherently bc it’s messing with the waveform
Updates caused some issues is what I’m thinking, because I just noticed mine doing it last night, and the transparency/NC have been a bit off, and sound different from time to time. Hopefully they get a good update out
Just wait until you’re old and have actual hearing aids. When talking, they pick up your own voice and sounds like you’re deep in a well suctioning your butt out of your ears! 😂
Google it. It’s nicknamed “ear suck”—some people’s brains are very sensitive to the noise cancelling feature in headphones & earbuds. Earbuds tend to be worse. Some headphones have controls so you can lessen the amount of noise cancelling, so it no longer bothers you. Don’t know if AirPods do.
