I spent too much $ at the chiropractor today. I felt good after I left. Then I did 2.5 hours of drawing (sitting up straight mind you) and my back starting hurting again. Sigh.

I have a good chair but I think it's what I do with my arms. I hold onto the ipad with my left arm while i draw with my right and it's my left side that has all the issues.
Maybe see an Occupational Therapist. They will work with you to build your muscles specifically to adapt to be stronger for drawing and sitting up, and they will have devices and ideas for supporting you egnonomically.
