that Peter Cheyney, "I'll Say She Does," is the last of the Lemmy Caution books, written in what Cheyney thought was American slang. He wrote ten of these things and they're all equally bad.
yes, I'm a huge fan of Alphaville. there's actually a series of Lemmy Caution French films made in the 50s, which are just pre-James Bond sock-em-ups.
