I am not a Zelensky voter, but I literally teared up after watching the way Trump and Vance humiliated him in the Oval just now. What a dark, humiliating moment in our history. At a loss for words, tbh

It's as angry as I've felt for a very long time. Whatever else anyone thinks about Zelensky, the guy has huge courage. Those 2 simpletons would have been out of Kyiv long before the Russian attacks started, had they been in his place.
It is known Vance suffers from anger management issues but this display of flagrant victim shaming from both Trump & Vance was almost impossible to watch without fury. Zelensky once again proves he has become the de facto leader of the free world while America proves it is led by a band of fools.
He acquitted himself with dignity. He was also set up. Lindsey Graham warned Zelenskyy earlier today, “don’t take the bait!”. He was baited by Vance, and they actually let a Tass reporter (!) into the room to witness the performative show. The humiliation belongs to us Americans, not to Ukrainians.
