Thinking more about this, I trend towards building decks that have a high ceiling and a high floor. I prioritize being able to play the game even if things don't go according to plan.

After Commander night, one of the guys I regularly play with said that he appreciates how I build decks that function without the Commander in play.
Is this not how people build decks these days?

Sort of same with Stella Lee, but that deck more often needs her out as a payoff for casting stuff.
- 2 one-drops
- 1 two-drop
- 2 three-drops
- 1 four-drop (mono green)
- 1 four-drop (orzhov)
- 1 four-drop (abzan)
- 1 six drop
A bunch of my decks can run fine without the commanders, like Gishath, Bruse/Thrasios Giants, Beluna Adventure Monarchy. The commanders are just a boost
But some are just built specifically to let my funny little guy do their thing, like Kalemne & Etali
I dunno, I just want people to have fun when they play.
Except Krenko. Krenko's job is to show up.
