Ik part of this is from a time where I felt like I was the only one reaching out and starting conversations with people I thought I was close to. And when I stopped initiating, the messages stopped completely. But even then, I’m join servers and trying to converse but no one responds

It makes me wonder if since Covid, we all got busy irl and now we’ve forgotten how to keep connections online. Or maybe that’s just me and I suck at being social lol

I also feel like social media in general has changed so much since then as well. It’s hard to find community imo. Tiktok used to be that for me but ever since Ads started taking over, everything feels like an ad and ppl aren’t posting for the fun of it anymore

I wish there was a way to combat it cuz ik we aren’t the only ones. I think another part is there’s just so much on the internet it can be hard to search for specific communities without search results popping up from 3+ years ago
