I really appreciate this take. I am a big fan of Kendrick and the performance. As usual he has things to answer for, and in a way I think I let myself off the hook with "we dont know the full story."

I criticize him for the same reason I criticize anyone with that level of reach and access to human eyes and minds. And I do that as one of his biggest fans as an artist. This is why people have a hard time even criticizing billionaires, because we have the idea that they somehow don't owe us.

Anyone who has attained that much money and power DOES owe us something, though. And simply taking them to task on what they could do versus what they did do is not harming them, but people have been reacting as if it is and that's weird to me.

I cut back on the programs I watched dramatically, when I got my account suspended for a week on IG last year, for theorizing the NFL is a psy-op. That comment was also deleted by the app as “spam”. I mostly just watch youtube for entertainment now.
