She'll definitely stand for leadership when Sunak goes after the next GE.
Interesting reading typical Tory voters responses to LibDem canvassing in Winchester (in the Guardian today). Most of them relieved to discover they're not in her new constituency but she's put them off voting Tory anyway.
She’s had her beady eyes on the leadership for a long while and been working hard to develop a loyal fan base on the ground and in the Tory party. I could see Gullis, 30p, Brenda C-Smith and Jenrick all flock to her flag.
I'm sure the extreme RW take over of the Tory party will continue after Sunak. I really believe that doesn't represent the majority of the British people's views though. Hopefully it'll spell the end of the party.
Of course, if we had PR, the loonies could do off on their RW adventure...
In reality the U.K. only has 2 contending parties and neither will bring in PR as it would spell doom for them. We will be stuck with this archaic system until the country descends into civil war which isn’t that far away imo.
