8 eyes i remember renting this from an erol’s video one night while staying over at a friends place. We couldn’t get very far(no instructions) but i remember it being fun despite frustrations. I really should revisit it someday soon.

The more i reflect on it,the more i doubt that many games today are that much easier. I think when we factor in people back then who ignored game manuals,hardware shortcomings effecting gameplay(cont)

alongside wider difficulty selection in modern games and that modern games having more liberal use of infinite lives/continues/save anywhere not so much as a way to make them easier so much as to respect the time of older gamers who have life commitments younger gamers don’t yet have(cont)

We find there are a good portion of modern games that not only match but exceed the mythical standard of NES era games(we won’t touch on atari or classic arcade though).
