I feel like seeing old vs newer generations of games come out helped me see that the art in games was something anyone could do with lots of practice & skill. Low poly always seems like such a great way to show people that it's not out of reach, even though it has such a high skill ceiling

I love video games, it was one of the few things I had that helped me escape the world. It inspired me to learn coding through Roblox which opened my eyes on the art of making games, my determination grew when I started watching videos that explore how my favorite games were made.

I grew up on games and have always loved them. But it was when I was really into WoW that I gained an interest in game design and development. I imagined what it's like designing new classes and spells or designing worlds to explore. I did some homebrewing for TTRPGs before diving into game dev

I used to play a LOT of mobile games back in the day. That ended up inspiring me to make games. While trying to make games, I ended up learning pixel art in process.

Right now, I have kinda stopped making games. It got a bit overwhelming for me as one person.

Some years ago I found Thomas Brush (creator of Pinstripe) on Twitch, he was making "Once upon a coma", at that time it was called "Neversong", and that really inspired me to start making my own games.

I always thought that games were really fun ways of telling stories, so I started to learn about how they're made and uncovered a huge amount of other interesting parts of game dev. Still finding more and more new ideas and ways to do things, so it's easy to keep going :)
