Punk does legit need to be asked about this. After attacking Jack Perry, Tony Khan and bleeding in front of 80,000 people, the last thing he did was find a trans rights sign in the crowd. He helped establish AEW as the more politically progressive company with his shirts and messaging.

Heck I advocated they should have Nyla cut a Magneto-style promo the next time they’re in OK after that mess happened as a personal F you to OSAC.
Kingston and Kenny have worn as many progressive shirts or pointed to signs as Punk has.
It’s not an issue of comfort.
That’s why his actions are performative. If you’re only giving a voice to the voiceless when it’s advantageous for you to do so, then you’re not actually an ally at all.
But yeah, the company had a much stronger progressive vibe before the influx of vets.
I’d much rather see Nyla and Abaddon and Bowens than old white vets telling me I should care.
