Ceres sighs, puts her round glasses back on, and focuses her attention on yet another spreadsheet. Called in to waste her Saturday here, when she could be remote, the actuary dutifully taps at corporate keys.
But what the hare doesn't know is that all this is about to change...
The impossible occurs instantaneously. Ceres's eyes, one moment level with a monitor, next peer over cubicle walls — then her desk's underside when her chair collapses beneath her.
Her shouts merely prick ears down distant halls, leaving the tall hare to stand herself up in unsteady heels.
But before she starts to stand, she surges, over doubling in height, and slams the ceiling with her head even while seated. Her long legs kick out, crashing through her cube and all those around it.
Some coworkers rush out to see, then stop and stare, at the hare who makes the floor creak.
Ceres sits stiff and still, speechlessly staring back and trying not to break anything else, but she has no say in that. Her hunched head and shoulders soon thrust through the floor above and a conference table in use.
"Sorry!" she answers their cries, and suggests, likely too late, "Run?"
As they start to, creaking crescendos beneath the hare's buns, and she drops back through the floor — only to reemerge with force.
Ceres breaks through several stories at once, heels and hands lashing out in free-fall, as she hollows out the headquarters. Scattered screams pale under hers.
Faster than floors give way, Ceres shatters ceilings, explosively emerging from the high-rise, then crushing its foundations.
Debris, some moving, settle on her slacks, shirt, snout — she sneezes, seeing only too late some suit who'd been hanging onto her. They fall far below into the dust.
Or maybe you do. :3c
A cute OL bunny lady growing relentless? I love it!
Constantly evolving what to describe based on the drive of "votes" cool!

You got this Hun.
But we shall see!

THE BIG
I'll lock in the counts at some point tomorrow, but I'm on the fence if it should count only the story itself (slower start) or the introduction, too (already near-double starting height).
Flip a coin, and let chance decide >:3
