People are spamming "DROP THE PRICE" on the Nintendo Treehouse live and I got curious, so I calculated the Switch 2's price when removing Trump's tariffs from it (which will start enrolling on April 9).
And.. it goes down to 360 USD, which is Japan's domestic price of it.
So.. yeah, it's trump.

It goes back to the price of the Pal version you can buy in Japan which is about 430 USD
Again, it's me speculatingout of curiousity, don't take me as the holy grail. t'sjust very.. similar?...
I just found it's a very strange coincidence
But why is it going to the rest of the world as well?
Nintendo doesn't want people paying less by just "ordering from thailand", and this is the result of it.
…That’s probably gonna not be a thing in the near future though.
I also calculated the same tariff on the game itself. It also goes back to 70 USD like Switch games used to.
I know it's easier to blame Nintendo, but it's unfortunately not on them this very specific time.
The issue is why are digital games 80 bucks!!!!
I'd rather pay 80 USD than pay 50 USD and have layouts, honetly
I justify it here a it more after seeing Mario Kart was running during Treehouse's stream.
Whoever optimized it literally did some black magic.
Now there's this. Yeah I think we're heading for a second crash.
