It would be hard to hide that. Military equipment, even in parts, are stricktly regulated in the US. And it's a business too: He wouldn't give it away for free - which would create a paper trail and would involve so many people that the leak-central, that is his admin, couldn't hide it.

Also with the US looking like it's going to side with Israel, it's not like Russia can actually help. They'd be fucking ruined if the US started straight up hitting anything of theirs while they're completely focused on Ukraine.
