Anecdotally, my cousin works in animal husbandry at ASU. They have a BSL3 facility and can do non-human primate research. That kind of research is mega expensive and is largely government funded.

LSU gets $192mil from NIH, Tulane has $130mil. I’d be happy to help set one up for AZ (Phoenix), but the link to connect with the core SUFS team and others locally is down. I’ve never organized a protest before and can’t do so without some guidance and support. I’m sure we can mobilize, as you say a lot of us are deeply concerned!
