Hi, I’m Courtie, I have 6 Jacob sheep, 2 Romneys a llama and an old horse in NE Ct. Really just started seriously working with wool the last year or so. Love it!! Learning to spin, knit, felt. 🐑🐏

Reminds me of when I had a flock of colored sheep and sold wool! All my ladies had names, and I loved that I could call out "Heeeeeeeeeeere Sheeeeeeep!" and they would come thundering from the far reaches of their pasture to see what I brought them! I miss them dearly!

Hanging out with the flock is truly restorative and calming, also, spinning and weaving. I loved being in the lambing shed when they were in labor - watching to make sure the mamas and babies had help if they needed it, listening to the mama voices as they tended to their babies.
