I finished rewatching Angel Beats with my boyfriend, and I remember seeing people saying it was nihilistic and sad, but like- the explicit theme is that your life inherently has meaning no matter what, even if it was tragic. It's one of my ultimate comfort watches and I hate seeing it misunderstood.
