According to a press release from the city today, we receive about $20M in federal funds annually - between 5% and 10% of the city budget, depending on how you count it.

It's tricky to figure out exactly how much federal grant money the city is planning on because of the various rules about what money gets reported where (grants are not really in the budget per-se).
In any event, it's millions of dollars. I expect staff furloughs based on Trumps announcement today.
