Thank you for your very excellent tools! Last week a colleague asked me to help her put together a short playlist for a family member's funeral and only had links to videos of the songs. Using https://cobalt.tools I was able to easily get the songs and put them on a device that was suitable for the venue.
Cobalt seems to not work half of the time. It just keeps throwing up these message whenever I try to download a video.
I cleared my cache and waited for a few seconds and this is still happening.
Our media class uses it all the time for footage. So much that IT created a custom ruleset to blacklist the site from our network. We had to beg them to white-list again because all the other sites suck and we can't host our own docker or whatever
Trust me I've been bypassing blocks since the 3rd grade. Though it may be stupid to block this content, I can see why from an educational standpoint why it may not be necessary to have this content accessible. As well as state laws regarding student devices being filtered always.
