I distinctly remember there being LOTS of talk about fascism in 2016, including widespread dissemination of the work of Timothy Snyder. It's interesting to see the topic being brought up again, but the link between Trump/MAGA and fascism has always been clear from the very beginning.

Although I was never in doubt regarding Trump's evil nature, I admit I never thought of the fascism angle in 2016, nor did I hear it much, if at all. Neither did I know who Timothy Snyder was. So much catching up to do! (Working on it.)
