The only ones banning books are nazis.
My teacher🙌🏻 was a man whose family fled Poland after WWII. He told us all about the Iron Curtain, & I was blown away by the truth: millions of people in E. Europe were NOT free, because books banned.
I weep a little for 🇺🇸 now
They forgot, we have the internet.
It's a dark symbolic act, yes.
But it does not disappear our past nor our work.
