Brereton says his rank is honorary so no relevant conflict. I have a current longstanding corruption complaint before the NACC regarding the $45b Hunter frigate debacle. I'm suspicious of anyone in the defence heirarchy's ability to be impartial - from former GG down. Recent decade's court cases involving military personnel (reserve and serving) doesn't give much confidence.
