Think about it: Moore successfully negotiated the new FBI headquarters to be in Maryland; he stood up to Ocean City on wind turbines; he’s made plans to revive the Red Line. Due to shifting markets and political upheaval he could lose all of it. It’s hard to do things in America

Sure, it’s not 1950 any more. Baltimore is a ways from its glory days but then we can take a page from North Carolina and build out our own “Triangle”, strengthening connections between Baltimore, Columbia, and Annapolis (or Frederick)

Absolutely and it won’t be easy. Quality of life here in Maryland is going to drop precipitously as we absorb the full brunt of Trump/Musk. I don’t expect the voters to be any savvier in 2026 than they were in 2024 and they could very well blame Moore for all the federal dysfunction

He's a governor actually willing to build up Baltimore. But you're right that MD's dependency on proximity to DC can turn into a glaring weakness depending on who's in the WH should serve as a wake up call for our state going forward. We can't afford any more Hogans.
