If you have kids I highly recommend cutting a pool noodle in half and glueing a wooden dowel into it to use as a handle. (Rod goes inside about 75% of the length of the noodle.) Kids can beat each other up all day and not do any damage 🤺 👍 - ThreadSky

Almost sounds like a challenge! My dad taught my brother and I how to make “swords” out of rolled up news papers. We’d have these really well thought out sabres we’d spar with. Then we realized we could become deadly and the poorly thought out paper mache club was invented and used to bludgeon!
