Yes
But since you asked for nuance-
Problem is billionaires aren't always seen as bad because they aren't directly harming people in a personal, direct way, for example, mugging someone.
But stealing someone's wages via shady company policy is still harmful, arguably even more than mugging

There’s a lot of discourse about CEOs and billionaires right now. It’s hard to have this convo on TikTok but I think Bluesky can handle it with nuance.
Are all billionaires bad?
Are all billionaires bad?

He didn't mean for your grandma to die bc she couldn't afford her heart pills!
Its difficult to pretend that didn't mean to steal from someone if you mug them at gunpoint. You have no plausible deniability.
Meanwhile, a billionaire will rob you, but claim it was bc a benign policy just so happened to go wrong.
We tend to think that there has to be a personal reason for harm.
He robbed me because I had more money than he did
He tried to stab me because he doesn't like me
We always want a reason.
But that's not reality
But because these effects are impersonal and detached, people don't clock it as evil.
"But he doesn't even know my name, why would he want to hurt me?"
All a billionaire knows is that you're in the way of a profit motive.
That's all the reason they need.
These aren't interpersonal conflicts, but they're still evil & violent.
