I know everyone thinks I’m the crazy Covid girl because I still mask and everyone stopped talking to me when I stopped using Facebook, but they’ve all had the flu nonstop since November and I haven’t had it since 2019.

I’ve gotten sick once since 2019, with the flu last year because of surface contact most likely (b/c masking), it was hell, the idea of just casually being sick all the time being no biggie is baffling to me

I'm a teacher. I finally stopped masking full time this school year, while occasionally wearing it if I'm in close proximity for extended periods (in meetings or one-on-ones). I asked the school to keep my room's HVAC fan on full time, and I keep a high-powered BlueAir purifier next to my desk. -->

My wife and I ask family to test and be asymptomatic before gatherings, and since we live in CA it's been relatively simple to just eat outside at restaurants. Haven't gotten covid, haven't gotten the flu. 🤷‍♂️

once flu season is over, we're thinking we'll expand our indoor activity some more. But it's nice not getting sick! More importantly, we and our family are various degrees of immunocompromised and are sympathetic to others who are as well, so we intend to keep making low-risk choices to some extent.

Allergies, too. Still get itchy eyes, but I don't react much to perfumes and flowers in stores.
The effort of wearing a mask is less irritating than taking multiple meds daily and having to schedule breaks on the nose spray because it causes nose bleeds. With mask, 1 med is enough
