Their media ecosystem would need to be destroyed. But these people also then believe, coupled with that media ecosystem, the whole religious ecosystem.

That is the truth. The things these people get mad about is ridiculous. But we treat them like legitimate arguments. They don't really care about anything. An will have another outrage just a minute after calming them from the last one.

I would include all Republicans in that too.

There are levels of depravity in Republican and non-political White circles.

Some would be moved by seeing images of what measles does, some are too deep in the prosperity doctrine to ever care about anyone else.
