happened to me a couple of time with some games.

There was time I really, really wanted to play one but I knew I couldn't make progress without the stream seeing it...

I know the feeling well. Since my gacha of choice is 100% canon story all the way, the only way I can get away with trickier bids for progress is notekeeping or showing the point of needing time to figure out fights offline.

...Then describing the results as comedically as I can.

Yeah honestly I've run into this before. The way I did it was to just not play the game off-stream. The exception was if we had run up against something that was really tedious and no one would really miss not seeing it. Then I'd play and get folks caught up the next time I streamed it.
