As you know, Zep, I entirely agree with you about Biden’s Presidency. His economic development plans for US were good but the policies towards the insurrectionists and their leaders were naive at best and an unmitigated disaster in retrospect. Then there’s his foreign policies… ☹️ - ThreadSky

I still feel incredibly raw about Biden’s presidency. There was so much goodwill, sincerity, and a genuinely humane vision. He is a fundamentally good person — and that mattered to so many of us after what came before. But that moral clarity didn’t translate into bold, decisive leadership. /2

I know I am biased. I think Biden was trying to maintain norms. He also ran on a well run government where he wasn’t going to be in the headlines every day. But when he backed off on the commission to address propaganda after the RW backlash I was utterly and severely disappointed.

Yes, Biden ran on traditional governance, but he failed to grasp how much the country had changed, especially after the insurrection. I was naive enough to think, at the start of his term, that he’d create a cabinet-level post to tackle the propaganda wave. I was genuinely puzzled when nothing came.
