I completely forgot when the love for her kicked off but I knew right off the bat I was making Esme headcanons when I first joined the community. And from that, a few varieties of her sprouted. I'll try to go into more detail with 'em since they're all cool in their own right n stuff.

First off is Kes, formerly Kesmé, but I decided to shorten it. She's basically Esmé but somewhat chronologically in the future, all tired from her job and just sick of being treated unfairly. Think of her as like a mix of Esmé and Squidward, kinda. Shes the most mature but also most stressed. (1/?)

Kes is the first of a handful Esmé variants that I've created. She was created from the implication that Esmé was dealt an unfair hand (as said by a NPC in DST), and also because she has doubted herself on one occasion. Besides that, Kes doesn't ever want to be mean but can if you're mean. (2/?)

Mémé is a "baba" version of Esmé. She is small (height of a plastic water bottle) and silly, and a very big fan of macaroni and cheese and fruit punch. There isnt much to her since she usually just eats and sleeps. Beside that though, she is the most happiest one and can sense when others are sad.

Vanta/Vantesmé is a very mysterious one. Little to nothing is known about her, besides the fact she is a void version of Esmé that occasionally you can come across. Despite her somewhat threatening look, she doesn't really do much. She'll just be hanging out somewhere, maybe she'll visit you.

Honestly, the people who think she's arrogant and vain and/or just see her as "Ough sexy mime lady" REALLY do not see much past her. She's a lot more than that. She's compassionate for her friends and loved ones, first off.
