Yeah... To me what's the point of a big Collector's Edition if it doesn't have a disc for longevity? How can you celebrate the game's existence when the game is a code on a paper slip you can only redeem once? I understand it for boxes of Fortnite, but THIS? Even CEs with no disc make more sense.

For me it’s that if you’re gonna have a steelbook and a digital code that’s not really serving anyone, including digital players who can’t preload. And anyone who buys the standard game and loves it can then upgrade to the CE.

Yeah, to me that's why a good number of CEs don't come with the game itself, because then you need to have two SKUs containing the Xbox and PS version. It'd be nice if it was a bundle, though.

I want to be able to do this so badly.

I might be excited for your game, but until I play it I don’t really want to shell out $200+ for a CE. But if I do love it that much after playing, I have to buy the game again to get the other stuff.

Hey Parris! Loved your review. How did you feel about the control scheme in Avowed? The combat is hard in a fun way but the controls are a little difficult to master with the grimorie and dodging.
