Up until 2013, autism and ADHD were mutually exclusive diagnoses according to the DSM.
Since the comorbidity rate is actually close to 50%, this meant almost the entire field of diagnosing was mostly just subjective woo pulled out of someone's ass.

I wonder about clustering neurodivergences. ADHD, dyslexia, fine motor control, auditory processing, proprioceptive issues... At what point does autism become a foregone conclusion?
