Declared broken, they threw her on the pile with the other lip-sticked past-their-best housewives. When the lights went off they swapped their outstanding features, nose for nose, cheek for cheek, an eye for an eye. Not long to All Hallows Eve, their pill boxes rattled like loose teeth.
