I don't normally like doing this sort of thing, but I want an excuse to share lore with the newer folks.

1. Despite the HF blueprints being alien in origin, the other androids and I are 100% Earth-made!
2. We see the head of Aurora Aeronautics as our father, and generally the folks there see us as their children.
3. We can toggle a "HUD" that lets us see all sorts of combat and flight information.

4. An HF unit's body runs at a slightly higher temperature than a human's. Combined with soft synthetic skin, this makes us great for hugging!
5. Gramma Valkyrie was the first of our kind! She doesn't quite look like a gramma, though...hopefully you'll get to meet her someday!

6. Eating and drinking are needed for energy; fuel only works for the engines!
7. Our parts are modular. Removing them as intended doesn't cause pain, but we're usually "put under" so we don't have to see it.
8. I was usually assigned with three other specific HFs. Vespa later replaced one.

9. Alerts, tones, etc, that a pilot would hear, are audible in my head. Someone standing very close to me could hear all of it, too.
10. We can operate in areas with airborne toxins, as long as they aren't caustic.
11. The "plane assembly" is removable; I prefer to have it off for convenience.

12. HF units fought in multiple locales; for me, it was the Pacific!
13. As comparatively small, winged humanoids, "fairy" was the brevity code regular pilots used for us.
14. HF bodies are designed with the landing gear in mind; standing with our feet flat is actually a bit uncomfortable.

17. Contrary to popular belief, the chibi-plane is merely an accessory.
18. Living under observation for so long means most of what I know about society came from the internet. Scary.
