I didn't care for the movie itself much and watched it in 2D at "only" 24 frames per second, so I didn't get the full Ang Lee experience in 3D at 120 fps. But something Griffin said about how the high frame rate wasn't just for novelty, that it represented his PTSD and hyper realism of being home.
