MAybe the people over on Threads are just thicker, but let me clarify this:
If you took any team and put them in Bama's place - same resume and all - people wouldn't be nearly as upset about it as they are about Bama being 11th.
People don't want the best teams, they just want different teams.

Willing to bet good money that if the team in that 11-spot wasn’t Alabama - let’s say any other team besides UGA, OSU, or Texas - then people would not be throwing the fits they are tonight.
