I’m happy to have kicked the Twitter habit. But any guesses as to whether the recent exodus is big and permanent enough to seriously damage Twitter’s relevance and prospects as a business? Does Elon care?

Sorry to be reductive, but if you think about social media the way people treat the WWE, Elon turned Twitter heel, and in the ongoing battle between old media and new media for public sentiment, Elon is happier to have the platform play the part of heel, and Bluesky has emerged as a lasting face.
Elon doesn’t care. The lefts inability to connect with young men is a monster problem. The twitter, podcast, ufc ,manospehere provides strong appeal. Unless there is an answer to it, it will continue.
Nothing that's left-leaning is exciting or entertaining to the most simple-minded, poorly educated young man out there. If you can make leftist ideals simplistic, entertaining and cool, you can get those young men. That's your answer.
Honestly, no one is really doing it that well. Most content that points out how bigotry, misogyny & capitalism is bad only caters to a certain group of folks or it completely misses the mark on entertainment value. It's going to take a group of very talented minds to come up with counter propaganda.
The big controversy on YouTube this week was around MKBHD speeding in a Lamborghini in a residential area. He could have chosen anywhere to put up the apology. He chose Twitter.
It’s going to be hard to shake, even after all the changes.
Personally I really don’t care! I’m finding it’s the positive energy here that has me returning everyday (multiple x) to get another fix. Let’s figure this new terrain, as rocky and unstable as it gets, together. Peace and power to you!
