I took a creative writing class years ago; some students so gifted you were magically placed where they described. I envied them. True, it seems a lost art. I believe there are as many great writers today, though just like everything else, movies, photos, cartoons, podcast, there is an abundance of garbage to weed through. Seems more high quality famous writers back then. Who has the time to weed through them all? 😀

I don’t have time. For me no podcasts, an occasional video, not much tv. I have tv for my client (who lives in my home). Most of my adult life I’ve not owned one. I’m a bit hooked on Bluesky. Good people; wide range of views. Some people hate, sadly. Whatever I don’t know about, I learn here. 😇

There are a few bad ones here. compared to pfft... nothin'. I have an account with 11,000 followers on Twitter and I can't even use it, unless in a masochistic mood (never) and what total moronic, hateful idiots. This place is paradise compared to that! LOL Lots of smart folks here for sure. 🥰

I could never get in to Twitter. People would attack; no civil conversation. FB became like that too. Left Twitter; FB for a couple of friends and local news. Happy here.

I started in 2016 over there with the resistance around the time Trump got into office. It was decent for a long time. Once fElon bought it it went downhill fast. Had a number of famous people and government officials following me. $8 for a check mark began the end. 🫤

Then I started following political figures, but didn’t tweet. Once EM bought it, my nutrition profile disappeared and my other profile’s username became my real name, which I don’t use, so I quit. I believe people need to maintain privacy if they choose. I didn’t need a blue check by my name.

I don’t remember when I first joined up…pretty early on, long before Trump. I was drawing too much negativity, for my perspective on politics, so chose another username, wanting to talk nutrition. That was about 2015; it became a sales thing I wasn’t interested in.
