We do not value their insights enough, including on issues that directly impact them. It's been both a privilege and an important responsibility to hear their perspectives on how extemism impacts our armed forces, including from folks who saw pivotal changes during the first Trump administration.

This project has also been personally poignant for other reasons: I started it during my first days at CTEC and finished the paper for it Friday, which was my last day at CTEC.

♥️ This one took a while between the state of the world pulling me in 5,000 directions and the very understandable need for extra trust building to find interviewees.
