The (new) Left did significantly better than AfD among 18-24 year olds.

Die Linke is also NOT the left-wing equivalent of AfD. They are more old-school social democratic than communist. Even their "populism" is debatable.

Nobody ever said that BSW was successful in convincing 2021 AfD voters - there is two studies explicitly examining those who moved to AfD until 10/23 and then - in parts - to AfD. And stating who was actually shifting.

It's also an example how journalists are NOT reading scientific papers because if I remember correctly they have drawn the conclusions that the BSW might be a threat to the AfD from your paper - even though you explicitly stated that one can't draw this conclusion.
