I will read this. I grew up in northern Michigan. We learned the northern side of racism. Nothing of the south, the south west. Nothing but the good in the North.
I’ve spent my adult years so far trying to ferret out info of the rest of the God forsaken US. I knit away my stress and start again

I admire your ability to knit away the stress because that is not possible from my side. Living in Detroit as a Black woman and a professional has never been easy. But it is much easier than living in Florida as the same person
