I love that someone took this simple photo of a little flumpus, had it developed, printed, and kept it during a time when photography was much more involved than just hitting a button on your phone. ❤️ From my collection, ca. 1950s.

Hopefully someone kept my one print of "Tiffany" teh black cat sleeping on a chair, in around '95, but said print was part of a storage unit I lost in '12. (those auctions are evil btw)
In my defence I was four when I named her 😄 It was a nickname for all cats in Lancashire, I later learned it comes from Old English, same origin as the name Tybalt in Romeo & Juliet!
This is probably the yore-est of my cat pictures. This is Sandy, who I remember as a very nice cat, in my grandmother's bathroom, circa probably the late 70s or early 80s.
Just like today, photography in the film days was mostly random and incompetent. There are billions of weird, awkward, and bad snapshots still out there.
Not sure if you caught this pic last time I shared it, but this is a cat I had for 15 years. Her name (not breed!) was Savannah. This pic dates back to 2002. Not quite “yore”, but it’s the oldest cat photo I have.
These are from 1999 of my old cat (the scrapbooking is probably from roughly 2004-2005). She's a ragdoll because I was mildly allergic/sensitive to cat hair.

I NOW HAVE A NEW WORD FOR THIS and it's epic.
Every photo like this is so special.
