Once upon a time, we had a Pepper, except his name was Scruffy. He literally leapt into my husband's arms from a tree beside the upstairs porch and asked to stay, please! Scrawny, missing part of an ear, skin issues...Many vet visits & much love later, he was the Best Cat Ever for more than 12 years
