Divisive 1930s Royal Doulton cat figurine from my collection, "Lucky". Some people love him, some find him terrifying. π€·ββοΈ I love him! Weird gremlins are very much my type.

Real cat can be very loving and can be very terrifying. He States as there are eight of them looking at him like why is he holding that phone instead of petting me.
My reaction is sort of like when someone's taken a picture of a cat yawning? You know the yawn is there, but the mouth is open with those terrifying teeth, and from a still image you have NO other context, unless the kitty is managing a totally chilled body attitude while yawning.
I love it! Itβs like that extreme close up you get when youβre woken up by a cat up in your face, hollering at you because youβve overslept and youβre late with their first breakfast.
do you know about the Wemyss ang Griselda Hill cats? Wemyss Ware is a brand of hand-painted pottery made by Griselda Hill Pottery in Ceres, Scotland. The pottery is known for its vibrant colors and quality painting. I have one of each and they are very special to me
When I was working, I collected little cats from the cities I traveled to. I picked this young lass up in San Francisco many years ago. I thought she was carrying an enema bag which made her very scary. Who knows maybe it's just a hot water bottle.
Have you checked out how much he is worth? Royal Doulton figurines go up in price & are in demand. I got lucky when a person came in to where I work & donated a box of vases. One of the vases was appraised at $200. I sold it & donated the $ to where I work (a nursing home).
