Laser pointers are fun but my boys really lose it when the sun reflects off my cell phone onto the wall! I'd be curious to see documentation of people using mirrors to play with cats, I bet they did!
I recently bought my Xeno a laser. He talks to it all the time now and has a special sitting position when he's ready to play with his new laser buddy.
This was actually an important step in the development of lasers. Although most people think its an acronym, the name really stems from "Lazy" because the inventor got tired of holding up sticks for his cat and was developing tennis elbow.
